February 12, 2013

Ormond Beach,  Fla. (January 25, 2013) – If a neighbor,  loved one or colleague needed CPR,  would you be able to help? If you have never received CPR training,  you are in luck. ICE Training Institute is offering 15% off its CPR and AED program till the end of February. Thispublic safety training is specifically for laypeople and providing excellent training skills and knowledge for both the community and workplace setting. The duration of the training runs between two to three hours and the certificate lasts for two years. “Having CPR and AED training is very important, ” emphasizes Jeff Godin,  co-founder of ICE Training Institute,  “you’ll never know when an emergency will occur and having this training could save someone’s life.”

This public safety training program is for individuals who do not work in the healthcare field but are occupationally required to,  or desired to,  have CPR training. Occupations such as adult residential care personnel,  babysitters,  childcare workers,  emergency response teams in business and industry,  teachers,  and school bus drivers would benefit from learning CPR. The ICE Training course would also benefit parents for emergency situations in the household.

The program is based off upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.,
